FRIENDS...

Pradyot is now 6 months old and last week he made his first friend.... Kabeer !!

Kabeer is a day younger than Prad... and he is one of the cutest kids around. he smiles and laughs at everyone he meets... but the first time the two met they were both in tears... it was quite a site :) (i guess both weren't used to seeing such cute-sized people around...) but they have warmed unto each other and these days its fun to see them play ... (well... pull each others feet and onesies :)) )

BLUE.....

yesterday wasn't one of the better days... lets just say ... i wasn't in my elements...

so when nishi returned from work and admiringly commented on how handsome my baby looked in his blue onesie...

i decided to put on my new blue frock and have a photo-shoot with my boys....

surprisingly the shoot lifted my spirits and made me feel happy and sunny in the middle of the blues..

ps : its almost 6 months since Pradyot arrived. can't believe that i have been his mommy for only 24 weeks and a few days !! it feels like ever....

coz mommy is in love with stripes these days.....

hope you are having a great week... as for me .. i am eagerly waiting for the weekend to come... you see.. with a wriggly giggly baby around it is always nicer to have daddy around...

spring so far....

spring made a fleeting visit last week before winter decided to take charge of the weather-affairs again...

so two little collages and 2 photographs are all that we managed to preserve of this spring so far....

Ferberizing

for the third night in a row.... mommy has had to wake up in one hour intervals (read literally stayed awake) so that baby could sleep. the little dude doesn't mind sleeping in mommy's lap... but nothing less will do.

so today i searched online for sleep training guidelines... and it appears that Ferberizing is the way to go... so cry it out dude.... and while mommy learns to hold herself back ... you'll learn to drift to la... la... land....

update (3.10.2012): it probably would have worked if i kept at it a little longer... but could not let baby cry it out alone... so i am back to being the cuddly mommy again....

baby & us

hi !! how have you been ? the three of us..... baby, nishi and i have been really busy... nishi had deadlines to meet... i have had baby to cuddle and take care of ... and baby had been busy practising and perfecting the art of rolling over and eating his toes :) Pradyot has also begun to enjoy the rhythm of a handful of nursery rhymes that i keep singing to him... so the past week was filled with a lot of sing-song baby-mommy time ..... and lot of giggly baby-daddy ticklefests :)
